Kenny and Vintage Berkeley go waaaaaay, waaaaay back. As in, Kenny was Invoice #2 of wines our owners brought into the shop 16 years ago when we first opened our doors. And we've been working with them ever since.

While we don't have that invoice framed on our walls (we should!), we have the wines to prove it. We have more of his wines in the shop than any other producer, some of which are the best selling and tasting California wines in the shop.

You may have seen some of his labels floating around - Hobo, Folk Machine, Banyan, Camp and Ghostwriter - all CA classics - wines we crush with family and friends and bottles that are always on our dinner table.

We'll be pouring some of our shop favorites - everything from his Folk Machine Parts & Labor Red, Hobo Anderson Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Banyan Gewürztraminer, Camp Chardonnay, Ghostwriter Pinot Noir and more!.

Aside from being a long-time friend and amazing winemaker, Kenny is also one of the most socially and environmentally conscious winemakers out there. He's organically certified in all the vineyards he farms and works with, and was one of the first to be certified organic in the cellar too! Kenny also participates in 1% for the Planet, giving one percent of his gross (not net) revenue to vetted environmental nonprofits, and is a member of the Climate Center's Climate-Safe California initiative, focused on removing more climate pollution from the atmosphere than we emit by 2030.
