Pielihueso (“skin and bones”) began in 2017 when father/daughter combo Celina and Alejandro Bartolome planted vines in Los Chacayes and Los Sauces (both subregions of the Uco Valley in Argentina located within Tunuyan). The wines are all farmed organically and made with no corrections with just a touch of sulfur added just before bottling. These are electric, fresh, vibrant wines to enjoy the end of summer/start of fall with!

We'll be pouring:
Rosado Primero 2021 (Rose of Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir and Malbec)
Naranjo 2021 (Orange wine blend of Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay)
Los Sauces No2 (Malbec & Cabernet Sauvignon Blend)

Escala Humana was started in 2015 by husband and wife team Ayelén and German Massera. German's day job is working with natural OG winemaker Matias Michelini, and since their inception are focused and in love with the rare, old vine grapes in El Zampal, a sub region of Tupungato in the Uco Valley.

We'll be pouring the insanely rare Bequignol (a light bodied french varietal planted in Argentina, only 600 hectares remain!) that makes us think of a beautiful meeting point between Cab Franc and Gamay! We'll also be pouring their beautifully fruited Malvasia, planted at 3600' elevation in 1927! Concentrated, insanely perfumed and such a fun food wine.
